Looking Back at the 2026 U.S. Book Show

The 2026 program explored the ideas, strategies, and innovations shaping publishing today.

Through candid conversations and real-world case studies, speakers examined how publishers are reaching readers earlier through literacy initiatives, building direct relationships through emerging platforms, and navigating a rapidly shifting retail and distribution landscape.

Sessions also explored how stories move from page to screen, how audio and translation are opening global audiences, how podcasts, social platforms, and community channels are extending discovery, and how the industry is approaching the opportunities and questions surrounding AI.

Career-focused conversations and workshops supported emerging and next-generation publishing professionals as they considered new paths for growth and opportunity.
