Media Alert: Invitation to Cover

WHAT:

U.S. Book Show was conceived and crafted by Publishers Weekly to build buzz about upcoming Fall books and to serve the bookselling, library, media and book publishing industry. This is the second year of the virtual show.

The show features celebrity and A-list authors’ keynote conversations; Authors’ Chats and Editors’ Picks panels; topical library panels; bookseller panels curated by the American Booksellers Association; international publishing panels and other programming geared to publishing professionals; networking opportunities and awards celebrations; galley giveaways; a press booth; and exhibit booths. There are 15 panels and more than 90 authors participating.

WHO:Humorist David Sedaris presents a live welcome on May 23. Ukrainian author and PEN Ukraine president Andrey Kurkov gives the opening keynote on May 24. Other notable authors include Oscar Isaac, Constance Wu, Amber Ruffin, Congressman Jamie Raskin, John Grisham, Celeste Ng, Kwame Alexander, Mo Willems, Jon Scieszka, Christopher Finan and others.
